Part 2 of Connie's Photography Class "TRASH THE DRESS" with Monica & Brad

When asked, Why do you want to trash your wedding dress? Monica's response was, "I love being able to turn my dress into a piece of art :) ... And my reasoning was your dress sits in a closet where no one ever sees it. We've now got lots of great photos, and I want to cut out the heart drawn on it and frame it with some of my favorite photos of the day. Then I can enjoy it every day. Better than being in a ball in my closet for 50 years."

Photography Class with Connie Deflorin

This class was such TREAT for me! I've had the greatest honors of working with Connie in the past when she was my manager when we both worked at the STAR newspaper and now I've been currently working with her as a second shooter with some of her weddings, so when she mentioned doing a class, I was totally thrilled & excited to join right away!!

Connie worked great with everyone, as some were beginners and some a little more advanced. She had taught us work in Manual mode and use our ISO's in certain light situations. And I have to say the results were amazing!! Connie did an awesome job teaching us all the understanding of how to use and when to natural light, she also explained how to make our subject feel relaxed during shoots, & some subjects on Photoshop!! I hope she's holds another class and I encourage other photographers if your just starting out and want to take better photos or if your looking to push your passion further, you really need to sign up with her classes! We had two models to work with at this class, our first one was a little girl (a friend of Connies) and what a beautiful little girl, did a great job posing for all of us, and what a trooper too to sit though 10 of us snapping our cameras at her! hehe! The second was Monica and her husband Brad, posing for us, for the "TRASH THE DRESS" shoot! Oh my goodness this was such a fun shoot to be part of!!! See the photos for yourself, I had a great time with all of it, Thanks again Connie for a JOB WELL DONE!
